Tours and Things to Do
There are a wide variety of tours from which to choose,
depending upon your interests.  Most of our tours are
managed by local tour operators, each of which provides
transport and guide services to visitors in the area.
We offer beach and snorkeling trips to
beautiful Caño Island Biological Reserve
and San Josecito beach.  You can go
offshore by boat for whale and dolphin
encounters or sportfishing.  We can also
arrange for scuba diving, canopy zip line
tours, horseback riding, and other
activities in the area.
We can arrange birding and wildlife tours
locally and in both the
San Pedrillo and Sirena areas of
Corcovado National Park.  There are also
mangrove excursions on the Rio Sierpe  
and to see the sea bird nesting islands
offshore from Violin Island.
Our most popular tours go by boat and
leave from the beach in the village of
Agujitas.  For most tours the boat ride
ranges from twenty to forty minutes each
way. If you want to venture deep into
Corcovado National Park, the boat ride to
Sirena Ranger Station can take as much
as one and a half hours each way.
